Uses

1 Used as a food flavoring agent in the formulation of flavorings for coffee, meat, and nuts.

2 Classified as a synthetic food flavoring permitted under China’s GB 2760; the maximum permitted level in various food products, as specified by FEMA, is 5.0 mg/kg.

3 It can serve as a sulfur-containing organic synthetic intermediate for the preparation of related fine chemicals.

Storage
