3-Aminopropyl triethoxysilane, also known in Chinese as γ-aminopropyl triethoxysilane, CAS No. 919-30-2, is a colorless liquid. 3-Aminopropyl triethoxysilane can be used as a glass fiber treatment agent, dental adhesive, and silane coupling agent. It is applied to mineral-filled phenolic, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide, and carbonate resins, among other thermoplastic and thermosetting resins. It can significantly improve and enhance the physical and chemical properties of plastics—such as flexural strength, compressive strength, and shear strength in both dry and wet conditions—as well as their electrical properties in wet conditions, while also improving the wetting and dispersion of fillers in polymers.

3-Aminopropyl triethoxysilane is an organosilane with active amine groups and hydrolyzable inorganic ethoxysilyl bifunctional groups. It is a colorless liquid with a distinctive ammonia-like odor and is soluble in solvents such as alcohols, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and aromatic hydrocarbons.
