Applications

1. Vinyltrimethoxysilane is an important crosslinking agent for crosslinked polyethylene. Compared to conventional peroxide crosslinking and radiation crosslinking, its crosslinking process features simpler equipment, lower investment, easier control, applicability to a wide range of polyethylene densities, suitability for producing specially shaped fan-shaped conductors, and high extrusion speeds. Because silane-crosslinked polyethylene possesses excellent electrical properties, good heat resistance, and resistance to stress cracking, this product is widely used in the manufacture of wires, insulation, and sheathing materials.

2. Cross-linked polyethylene produced using this product as a cross-linking agent offers advantages such as good resistance to aromatics, oils, and stress cracking, high mechanical strength, and good heat resistance, and can be used for 50 years at 80°C. It can be used for anti-corrosion and thermal insulation outer protective layers for oil, natural gas, and coal gas pipelines, as well as for配套 anti-corrosion and thermal insulation heat-shrinkable joint repair materials.

3. It can improve and enhance electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as extend the shelf life of room-temperature silicone rubber.
