Aroma Characteristics
Features a distinct, sweet, and creamy vanilla milk aroma, with notes reminiscent of white chocolate and cream soda, accompanied by a subtle apricot fruitiness. Compared to vanillin, it has a less powdery texture; the overall aroma is richer and more velvety, and it is less prone to discoloration.
Core Applications
1. Food Flavoring: Widely used in the formulation of vanilla, caramel, and floral-type flavorings; added within standard limits to baked goods, confectionery, and cold beverages.
2. Personal Care Fragrancing: Used in the formulation of fragrances for soaps, personal care products, and home fragrances. It can be added at up to 2% in soap formulations, offers excellent stability, and is unlikely to cause product discoloration.
3. Fine Chemical Intermediate: Can serve as an organic synthesis intermediate for the R&D and production of related vanilla-based fragrances, and can also be used as a fragrance ingredient in cosmetics.
Storage Guidelines
1. For routine storage, keep the product sealed in a low-temperature environment of 2–8°C, protected by nitrogen inert gas. Keep away from open flames and heat sources, and avoid direct sunlight.
2. For daily storage, keep in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Avoid direct contact with strong alkalis and strong oxidizing agents to prevent ester decomposition reactions that could lead to deterioration.
3. The storage area must be equipped with appropriate firefighting facilities and managed in accordance with regulations for flammable liquid chemicals.
