Key Properties
1. Strong emulsifying ability; can emulsify various polar oils. Requires only a small amount, offers high emulsification efficiency, and delivers outstanding emulsifying performance. It is typically used in combination with CETETH-6, with a total usage of 2%–4%.
2. The resulting emulsions have a lustrous, fine appearance; they readily develop significant viscosity and maintain viscosity stability.
3. It can tolerate certain amounts of electrolytes, acids, or alkalis, allowing this emulsifier to be used widely and flexibly in various formulations.
4. The resulting emulsion products exhibit high stability and can remain stable for extended periods.
Applications
Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol Polyether-25 is an emulsifier that can be used as a leveling agent and dyeing retarder in the textile printing and dyeing industry; as an emulsifier in the glass fiber industry; as a component of spinning oils for synthetic fibers; as an emulsifier in the production of cosmetics and ointments; and in the formulation of household and industrial cleaning agents. In the synthetic fiber industry, it serves as one of the components of various spinning oils and provides good spinnability;
in general industrial applications, it functions as an emulsifier with excellent emulsifying properties for animal, vegetable, and mineral oils, resulting in highly stable emulsions; it can also be used in the formulation of household detergents, industrial cleaning agents, and metal cleaning agents; in the textile industry, it acts as a wetting agent; and in the pesticide industry, it serves as one of the components of emulsifiers.
