Performance and Applications
1. Oil-alcohol polyoxyethylene ether is a nonionic, low-foaming surfactant with excellent performance. It is readily soluble in water, alcohols, propylene glycol, cottonseed oil, and mineral oil, and possesses excellent emulsifying, wetting, and dispersing capabilities.
2. This product is used as an emulsifying and wetting agent; in the rubber industry, it serves as a dispersant; and in the petroleum and environmental protection industries, it is used as a component of oil spill dispersants.
3. It is used in heavy-duty cleaning agents and as an emulsifier in O/W skincare products. In cosmetics manufacturing, it serves as an emollient, lubricant, solubilizer, and emulsifier, and is used in the production of astringent creams and astringent lotions; OV-3 acts as a solubilizer for brominated acids in the production of lipsticks and liquid balms, and can also be used in the formulation of bubble baths, shampoos, cold perm solutions, depilatories, and hair straightening agents.
4. This product can also be used as an oil-soluble spreading agent; it can be formulated with mineral oil, isopropyl esters, refined oil alcohols, and water to produce transparent gels.
5. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is primarily used as an emulsifier, lubricant, and solubilizer in the manufacture of emulsions and ointments.
Packaging, Storage, and Transportation
Packaged in 200 kg steel drums and 50 kg plastic drums.
This product series is non-flammable and should be stored and transported as general chemicals. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Shelf life: two years.
