Aroma:
Features a fresh, fruity, and herbal bouquet blended with a subtle, lavender-like fragrance; it is a typical ketone-based fragrance ingredient (FEMA No. 2803).
Applications:
1. As a food flavoring approved under China’s GB 2760 standard, it is used in the formulation of citrus, berry, and nut-based food flavors. According to FEMA regulations, the maximum permitted level in cold beverages is 10 mg/kg.
2. As a fragrance modifier in personal care products, it is commonly used in the formulation of lavender and fougère-type fragrances to add natural herbal and fruity depth to the scent profile; it may also be used as a specialty industrial solvent.
Storage:
Store in a sealed container in a cool, well-ventilated area designated for flammable liquids, strictly away from open flames, high-temperature heat sources, and strong oxidizing agents. Store in accordance with UN 2271 dangerous goods regulations to prevent volatilization, oxidation, and deterioration caused by prolonged exposure to air.
