Triethylene glycol bis(2-ethylhexanoate)/3Go CAS No:94-28-0 C22H42O6

Applications

1. This product is a solvent-based, cold-resistant plasticizer that offers excellent low-temperature performance, durability, oil resistance, UV resistance, and antistatic properties, as well as low viscosity and moderate lubricity. It is compatible with many natural resins and synthetic rubbers and is soluble in many organic solvents, but insoluble in mineral oil. It exhibits thixotropic behavior in plasticized pastes, making it particularly suitable for specialized applications.

2. This product is a solvent-based, cold-resistant, environmentally friendly plasticizer that offers excellent low-temperature performance, durability, oil resistance, UV resistance, and antistatic properties, along with low viscosity and moderate lubricity. It serves as a highly effective plasticizer for polyvinyl butyral (PVB safety glass) and synthetic rubbers, imparting low-temperature performance and low volatility to these materials. It can also be used in polyester fabrics, adhesives, and sealing materials, and serves as a plasticizer for PVC, PS, ethyl cellulose, and nitrocellulose, among others. When used in polyvinyl butyral fabric-based coatings containing castor oil, it improves flexibility under extremely cold conditions. It is also used in formulations for butadiene-acrylonitrile oil-resistant synthetic rubbers and polyethylene emulsion paints, typically at lower usage levels than di-n-octyl phthalate or trimethylphenyl phosphate. It is soluble in many organic solvents but insoluble in mineral oil.
