Key Applications
1. Dye Industry: Serves as a key intermediate in the manufacture of various azo dyes and sulfur dyes, and is also the core raw material for the classic fur oxidation dye “Fur Black D.”
2. Personal Care and Cosmetics: Acts as a classic oxidative color developer and is the core ingredient in the traditional permanent hair dye “Urs D.” It produces insoluble macromolecular pigments through an oxidative reaction to achieve long-lasting hair coloring effects.
3. Other Industrial Applications: Used in the production of rubber antioxidants DNP and 288; it can also serve as a developer for color film, as well as an antioxidant and cross-linking agent for polymer materials
Standard Storage Requirements
1. Basic Storage Conditions: Must be stored in a completely sealed container. It is generally recommended to store it at low temperatures (2–8°C) in the dark under an inert nitrogen atmosphere.
2. Safety Isolation Requirements: Storage facilities must be equipped with explosion-proof ventilation systems. Keep away from open flames and heat sources at all times. Must be strictly separated from strong oxidizing agents and strong acids; mixed storage is strictly prohibited.
