Primary Applications
1. Silicone Rubber Crosslinking Agent: As a specialized crosslinking agent for one-component room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone rubber, it is widely used in silicone sealant systems. It exhibits excellent crosslinking reactivity, rapidly forming stable siloxane bonds to enhance the curing efficiency and mechanical properties of silicone rubber.
2. Material Surface Treatment Agent: Used as a surface modifier for glass fibers and inorganic fillers, it significantly improves the mechanical strength, heat resistance, and moisture resistance of reinforced plastic laminates, while enhancing the interfacial compatibility between fillers and organic resins.
3. Sol-Gel Precursors: These are core raw materials for the preparation of silica aerogels and hydrophobic coatings. After film formation, they exhibit excellent UV stability and are widely used in the preparation of weather-resistant protective coatings for buildings and metal materials.
4. Raw Material for Silicone Synthesis: A key monomer for the preparation of methyl silicone resins; it can also be used in the synthesis of various silicone fine chemicals and is compatible with a wide range of silicone polymerization reaction systems.
5. Analytical and Research Applications: Used as a silylation reagent for the derivatization of chromatographic samples; also used in laboratory research on the controlled synthesis of superhydrophobic materials and porous silicon materials.
Storage Requirements
General Environment: Store in a sealed container in a dedicated warehouse at 2–8°C—cool, dry, and well-ventilated—away from open flames, high-temperature heat sources, and sparks. Strictly maintain the storage temperature within the low-temperature range to prevent hazards caused by high temperatures.
