Chemical Properties
At room temperature, it is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a mild odor. At low temperatures, it precipitates as white, flaky crystals; when heated to 50–60°C, the crystals redissolve. This process does not affect its chemical or physical properties.
Applications
Sodium isopropylbenzenesulfonate effectively improves the stability and solubility of alkaline systems.
