Primary Uses
As a food flavoring permitted under China’s GB 2760 standard, the recommended usage concentration is 0.1–2.5 ppm. It can be used to formulate food flavorings with nut, coffee, and vegetable flavors, and may also serve as an organic synthesis intermediate.
Safety and Storage
1. Classified as a Class 3 flammable liquid; poses risks of skin, eye, and respiratory tract irritation.
2. Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place away from light.
3. Keep away from heat sources and open flames during handling; wear protective gloves and safety goggles, and ensure the work area is well-ventilated.
