Chemical Properties

2. Slightly soluble in water; soluble in organic solvents and ethanol (may become cloudy in ethanol). 3. The natural form is found in pork liver, cocoa, and other sources.
Uses
Regulated as a permitted food flavoring under China’s GB 2760—1996. Used in potato, peanut, and cocoa-type flavorings.
