Applications
1. Oleic acid polyoxyethylene ester belongs to the class of fatty acid polyoxyethylene esters, which are very important nonionic surfactants with a wide range of applications. For example, oleic acid polyoxyethylene (3–5) ester is used as an antistatic agent in textile processing and the production of synthetic fibers;
2. In the leather industry, it is used as a softener and lubricant for tanned leather;
3. In ink manufacturing, it serves as an emulsifier; in metalworking, it acts as an emulsifier for cutting oils, as well as an emulsifier and dispersant for metal cleaning agents and detergent solvents.
4. Oleic acid polyoxyethylene (10–15) ester is used in the textile industry as a specialized detergent and dyeing aid; in leather processing, it serves as an emulsifier for hoof grease;
5. In the coatings and printing industries, it is used as a grinding aid for pigments and inks; in the paper industry, it serves as a paper relubricant; and in the rubber industry, it functions as a dispersant;
