Methoxytrimethylsilane, abbreviated as TMSOME, is a colorless, transparent liquid with strong hydrophilic properties that forms an emulsion in water. It reacts with both inorganic and organic compounds, undergoes esterification with alcohols, and reacts with acid anhydrides to form esters.

Product Characteristics:

 Methoxytrimethylsilane can serve as a precursor to modify the cross-linking degree within the aerogel, thereby imparting flexibility to the aerogel; flexible SiO₂ aerogels are prepared by adjusting the ratio of trimethylsiloxane to solvent, followed by the selection of a suitable phase-change core material.

Purpose：

Methoxytrimethylsilane is used as a capping agent for silicone oils and linear polysiloxanes, making it a silane coupling agent with a wide range of applications.
