Primary Uses
1.Core Function: Serves as the main component of a silane impregnation agent for concrete corrosion protection. It penetrates to a depth of 3–4 mm, reacts with the substrate to form a water-repellent layer, reduces water absorption by over 90%, and blocks chloride ion corrosion.
2.Applications: Seaport terminals, cross-sea/cross-river bridges, tunnels, airport runways, water conservancy projects, nuclear power facilities, and reinforced concrete structures subject to corrosion from salt fog and de-icing agents.
3.Mechanism of Action: After penetration, the small molecules undergo hydrolysis and condensation to form a cross-linked silicone polymer network, providing the concrete with breathable, waterproof protection with a service life of up to 10–15 years.
Storage Instructions
1.Environmental Requirements: Store in a cool, well-ventilated, dry warehouse at a temperature between 5–30°C (some sources recommend 0–30°C or 5–45°C). Avoid high temperatures, direct sunlight, and exposure to rain.
2.Sealing and Moisture Protection: Must be strictly sealed to prevent hydrolysis and deterioration caused by exposure to atmospheric moisture; once opened, it is recommended to use the entire contents at once.
