2.Coupling Agent/Surface Treatment Agent: Bonds inorganic materials (glass, silica) via trimethoxysilyl groups; the isobutyl group improves compatibility with organic phases such as polyolefins and epoxy resins, enhancing the mechanical properties, water resistance, and electrical insulation of composite materials.
3.Functional Modification Applications: Used for hydrophobic/biocompatibility modification of biomedical material surfaces, as a pesticide adjuvant (to enhance adhesion and penetration), and as an organic synthesis intermediate.
