Product Description:
A polyurethane-grade ester solvent with a low evaporation rate, commonly used in wood coatings, plastic coatings, metal coatings, and as a slow-drying solvent in thinner formulations.
Product Features:
1. Due to its low evaporation rate, it can serve as a slow-drying solvent for coatings; when used as a substitute for xylene in plastic coatings, it prevents “base burning.” Different plastic coatings have varying solubility parameters and are highly sensitive to strong solvents; therefore, the solvent formulation must be adjusted for different plastic substrates, otherwise “base burning” is highly likely to occur.
2. It can be used in wood coatings, where it provides excellent color development for pigments;
3. When used in metallic paint formulations, it protects metallic pigments and prevents gold and silver powders from oxidizing and turning black.
Safe Use and Disposal:
This product is a hazardous chemical and should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from sources of fire and heat. Warehouse temperature should not exceed 30°C.
