Core Functions
1. Adjusting the base texture: Reduces the hardness and brittleness of the chewing gum base, significantly improving its elasticity and chewability, and preventing issues such as gum sticking to teeth or being too hard and uncomfortable to chew
2. Stabilizes the formulation system: As a thickening and stabilizing agent, it ensures more uniform mixing of components in the gum base—such as rubber, waxes, and fillers—preventing texture separation and hardening of the gum during storage
3. Optimizes flavor release: Helps improve the uniform dispersion of flavorings and essences within the gum base, resulting in a smoother, more sustained flavor release and extended flavor retention Storage Requirements
1. Storage Conditions: Use food-grade, airtight packaging. Typically store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated environment away from direct light and high-temperature heat sources.
2. Handling Instructions: When melting the product, ensure the temperature does not exceed 150°C to prevent localized overheating, which can cause the product to darken in color and increase its acid value, thereby affecting the final quality of the chewing gum.
