Applications
1. Used as an emulsifier in the pesticide, pharmaceutical, and rubber industries, and as an asphalt emulsifier in the construction industry. Used as a gas chromatography stationary phase (maximum operating temperature 190°C; solvents include acetone, chloroform, dichloromethane, and methanol) for the separation and analysis of hydrocarbons, oxygen-containing compounds (alcohols, esters, ketones), basic and neutral nitrogen-containing compounds, and thiols.
2. A widely used nonionic surfactant employed under mild denaturation conditions to restore membrane components.
3. Primarily composed of Triton X-100, deionized water, and other ingredients; Triton X-100 is a nonionic surfactant. Used to enhance the porosity of conductive polymer films.
4. Triton X-100 consists primarily of Triton X-100, deionized water, and other ingredients. It is not sterile and is commonly used as a detergent or film-breaking agent.
