Main Applications
1. Polyurethane Industry: Serves as a key soft-block raw material for the synthesis of polyurethane elastomers, sealants, coatings, and potting compounds. It is widely used in track surfacing, floor adhesives, and leather finishing agents to adjust the flexibility and hydrolytic resistance of products.
2. Other Applications: Serves as a key component in non-silicone defoamers for the papermaking, textile printing and dyeing, and water treatment industries; it is also used as a moisturizing additive in cosmetics, as a lubricant, plasticizer, and thermosensitizer for latex.
Storage Requirements
1. General Conditions: Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Maintain storage temperatures between 5 and 40°C.
2. Precautions: Keep away from sources of fire and heat. Do not store together with strong oxidizing agents or acidic substances. Use as soon as possible after opening to prevent moisture absorption. An increase in viscosity or cloudiness at low temperatures is a normal physical change; homogenization at room temperature will not affect product performance.
