Main Uses

1. As an oil-based defoamer, it is widely used in the pharmaceutical, monosodium glutamate (MSG), coatings, sugar, paper, and bio-pesticide industries.

2. It can serve as a raw material for the synthesis of polyurethane adhesives and as a specialized defoamer for various types of drilling fluids.

3. In cosmetic formulations, it can be used as an emollient, solvent, or emulsifier and has skin-conditioning properties.
