Applications

1. Used as an ion-complexing reagent for extraction-based photometric analysis and as a sensitizer for metal photometric determination. It is soluble in water and ethanol in any proportion and can be used simultaneously with cationic and nonionic surfactants or dyes; however, it should not be used in combination with anionic surfactants or auxiliaries. It is stable in weak acids and bases but should not be heated for extended periods at temperatures above 100°C.

2. It is compatible with nonionic, amphoteric, and other cationic active agents and exhibits good thermal stability.

3. Used for bactericidal and algicidal treatment in water circulation systems in the petroleum, chemical, light industry, textile, machinery, metallurgy, and power sectors.
