Primary Uses
1. As a third-generation quaternary ammonium salt biocide, it is used for bactericidal and algicidal treatment in swimming pools, oilfield water, and industrial recirculating cooling water.
2. It is one of the core components of fourth-generation composite quaternary ammonium salt biocides, suitable for water treatment in environments with high organic contamination and hard water.
3. It can also be used as a moth repellent for woolen fabrics, a disinfectant for hard surfaces, a textile additive, an emulsifier for coatings, and an antistatic agent.
Storage Requirements
1. Keep away from heat sources and open flames; store at moderate temperatures; wear safety goggles and gloves during handling.
2. Store separately from strong oxidizing agents; avoid contact with skin and eyes.
