Key Applications
1. UV-curable materials: Widely used in high-end UV-curable coatings, inks, and adhesive formulations, significantly enhancing the hardness, scratch resistance, weather resistance, and adhesion of coatings; serves as a key functional monomer in protective coatings for optical lenses and flexible printed circuit boards
2. 3D Printing Materials: Serves as a crosslinking component in high-performance photopolymerizable 3D printing resins, optimizing the mechanical strength and heat deflection temperature of printed parts while improving printing accuracy and the durability of the final product.
3. Specialty Polymer Modification: Used for the crosslinking modification of acrylic resins and rubber materials to enhance their temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, making them suitable for high-end applications such as aerospace and electronic component encapsulation.
4. Biomedical Materials: High-purity grades can be used in the synthesis of biomedical photopolymerizable hydrogels. As a crosslinking agent, it regulates the hydrogel’s network structure and mechanical properties, making it suitable for research on tissue engineering scaffolds
Storage Requirements
1. Store in a sealed container at 2–8°C in a cool, dark, and dry environment. Strictly isolate from strong light and high temperatures throughout storage to prevent self-polymerization of the acrylate groups.
2. Store strictly separate from strong oxidizing agents and radical initiators. Manage storage and transportation in accordance with standard safety guidelines for photosensitive acrylate monomers.
