Main Applications
1.Rubber Processing Aids: Widely used in tires, footwear, and mechanical rubber products to treat silica fillers, thereby reducing compound viscosity and improving dispersion and processing flowability.
2.Coupling and Surface Modification: Acts as a silane coupling agent to enhance the bond strength at the interface between organic polymers (such as resins) and inorganic materials, improving the mechanical strength, water resistance, and durability of composite materials.
3.Synthesis Intermediates: Used as raw materials for the preparation of reactive silicone oils, organosilicon intermediates, and certain pesticide and pharmaceutical intermediates.
Storage Conditions
1.Environmental Requirements: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. The temperature should be maintained between 2–8°C or below room temperature (avoid high temperatures), and keep away from heat sources, sparks, and open flames.
2.Sealing and Protection: Containers must be strictly sealed, preferably under an inert gas atmosphere (such as nitrogen or argon), to prevent contact with moisture in the air (which can cause hydrolysis) and oxidizing agents.
