Main Applications
1.Single-component polyurethane (PU) adhesives/sealants: Acts as a latent tackifying coupling agent, addressing the issues of premature gelation and short shelf life associated with traditional aminosilanes, and enhancing bond strength to substrates such as glass, metal, and ABS.
2.Single-component epoxy coatings/adhesives: Does not react with epoxy groups at room temperature; significantly improves adhesion after being de-capped by exposure to moisture; exhibits low yellowing after curing, making it suitable for white/transparent systems.
3.Surface modification of inorganic fillers: Used for surface treatment of glass fiber, calcium carbonate, and other materials to improve their dispersion and interfacial bonding within resin matrices.
4.Other Applications: Crosslinking agents or coupling components in solvent-based inks and composite materials.
Storage and Handling Requirements
1.Environmental Conditions: Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Recommended temperature: <30°C. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.
2.Key Moisture Protection: Must be strictly isolated from atmospheric moisture (nitrogen purging is recommended after opening); contact with water or moisture will cause hydrolysis and failure, and may lead to gelation of the system.
3.Incompatible Substances: Strictly prohibited from being stored or used in combination with water, strong acids, or strong oxidizing agents; keep away from sources of ignition (flash point approximately 110–131°C; flammable).
