Applications

1. Diisooctyl sebacate is an excellent low-temperature plasticizer commonly used in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cable compounds, cold-resistant films, artificial leather, and other resin plasticization applications. Additionally, it serves as a base oil for biomass-based lubricants; due to its high- and low-temperature resistance and biodegradability, this base oil can be used as a base oil for jet engine lubricants.

2. Diisooctyl sebacate serves as an excellent plasticizer and is also used in synthetic lubricants for jet engines; it can also be used as an oily ingredient in cosmetics, a fiber lubricant, and a lubricant additive, among other applications.
