2. Used as a high-boiling-point solvent; it can also serve as a base material for ester exchange reactions.
3. Can be used in certain cosmetic formulations; the addition level is typically controlled between 0.5% and 8%.
Storage and Handling Guidelines
1. Storage Conditions: Store in a sealed container in a cool, well-ventilated area at 10–30°C, away from open flames and high temperatures.
2. Storage Compatibility: Do not store together with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, or strong bases to prevent reactions.
3. Container Requirements: Use galvanized iron drums or stainless steel drums to prevent hydrolysis and deterioration of the product.
