Description

Main Uses

As a commonly used pyrrole-based organic synthesis intermediate, it can be used in the synthesis and preparation of pharmaceuticals and OLED functional materials. It can be oxidized to 2-pyrrolecarboxylic acid, reduced to 2-pyrrolmethanol, or alkylated with alkyl bromides under basic conditions to yield the corresponding alkylated products.
